Lessons
- You can apply as an occasional participant. In this case lesson duration, frequency and content are agreed upon individually.
- You can apply as a regular participant. Lessons (1 individual + 1 in group) take place twice a week. Music theory basics are covered during group lessons.
Lesson plan for regular participants:

* During group lessons we will learn the posture basics, will listen and evaluate each other, will play together and will learn the basics of the theory of music.
Homework* will be given according to a student’s interests and skills.
* In order to achieve a result, at least small, but regular home work is necessary to consolidate the material learned during a lesson.
Both regular and occasional participants are invited to take part in concerts, master-classes and camps in a creative and motivating environment!
During the lessons students will receive sheet music and handouts.
Lessons can be conducted in the following languages: Latvian, Russian, Italian, English, German (fluently); Polish and French (basic knowledge)
Lesson venue
Lessons are held in Salaspils, Nometņu iela 50.

Aims:
Acquiring and improving the skills of playing violin or viola according to a student’s capacity and interests
Tasks:
- to learn to play violin or viola and to improve skills
- to enhance basic improvisation and composition skills
- to enhance the skills of ensemble playing
- to acquire basic knowledge in theory of music
- to obtain performing experience in a friendly environment
- to give a possibility to prepare for ABRSM* music exams
